I’m back on board with this issue. It was well written, there was a nice bit of humor, solid story, and tremendous art. Scott Lobdell is truly a great writer and Soy and Gandini are a magnificent team on the artwork. A big thumbs up to the team for this issue. Include it in your weekly pull.
This story was frustrating. But not in a good way. In a very obnoxious way.
It's a special thing to have a series where a character like Artemis can be given so much depth while also being on a team with a resurrected Robin and a failed Superman clone. If you're looking for a reason to follow this series, look no further than Red Hood and the Outlaws Vol. 2: Who is Artemis? Scott Lobdell and Dexter Soy have made Red Hood and the Outlaws one of the best in Rebirth.
I truly look forward to every issue of the Outlaws that comes out, and I enjoy them all. I also really like this smart version of Bizarro a lot. I suppose I knew that it wasn’t going to be forever, but deep down I was really hoping that we were going to see this version of Bizarro permanently.
