Mister Miracle #6 Review

Mister Miracle #6

Writer: Tom King
Artist: Mitch Gerads

As I was reading this issue, I couldn’t help but think about some of the discussions my wife and I have about our place and the space we have. The only difference is that we are not fighting through multiple obstacles and enemies to try and face Orion. It may not seem like much, but it shows how strong their bond is with one another. Not only can these two discuss how to make more space in their condo, but they can discuss it while jumping through various obstacles. There is also a good reason for the needed extra space, read it to find out, and the reason is a joyous one. While there was wonderful news at the end of the issue, there was also a huge revelation as well.

Mister Miracle finally has the chance to confront Orion, but someone has beaten him to the punch. That someone has Mister Miracle frightened because he finally saw the face of God. Although Mister Miracle was ready to confront or even kill Orion if need be, he showed that he has feelings for him. Mister Miracle and Orion have a complicated relationship. It’s one Mister Miracle may have wanted to improve, but the opportunity might be gone.

Tom King and Mitch Gerads are halfway through their story, and they continue to do magnificent things. I never knew an issue that contained so much talk about home improvement could be amazing. It all leads to some great news for Big Barda and Mister Miracle and a huge cliffhanger at the end too. If you need to catch up on Mister Miracle, do it because the story being told is magnificent.
