Contributors

Thanks for your interest in joining the Comic Book Corps!

We’re an entertainment website that focuses on news and reviews on all things in comic book culture.

Contributors have a huge pool of content possibilities they can choose to write about. We have primarily focused on DC Comics properties in the past, but we’re expanding to include Marvel, Indie, Star Wars, and eventually more. Basically, all of our blog posts will boil down to two categories: news and reviews. Here’s what content within those categories could include:

NEWS

News contributors would potentially be the most active contributors on the site. In the world of comic book movies, there’s news to write about almost every day. These are some examples to give you a basic idea of what News Contributors could cover:

COMIC BOOKS

  • series announcements
  • creative team changes
  • plot developments
  • major character changes

MOVIES

  • production announcements
  • casting
  • trailer discussions
  • interviews

TV SHOWS

  • series announcements
  • casting
  • major plot discussions
  • interviews

GAMES

  • game announcements
  • gameplay videos
  • console updates
  • trailer discussions

REVIEWS

Our goal for ComicBookCorps.com is to give Review Contributors a place to give their honest opinions of their favorite comics, shows, movies, etc. freely. There are some guidelines for reviews, but ultimately reviewers are given a free platform to talk about the things they love. Just like News Contributors, it’s up to the Review Contributor how often he or she wants to write reviews. Here are some topic options for reviews:

COMIC BOOKS

  • weekly issues
  • volumes (graphic novels)

MOVIES

  • theatrical
  • direct to video

TV SHOWS

  • episode reviews
  • mid-season reviews

GAMES

  • mobile
  • console

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

As our online presence grows, so does the need for consistent content to be pushed out to different platforms. The places we need the most help are “the big 3” social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. If you’re interested in helping us manage our social media accounts, just fill out the form below and under the “previously published articles” line, just write N/A.

CONTRIBUTOR FREQUENCY

It’s completely up to the contributor to choose how often they want to write. We just ask that once you’ve committed to a time frame that you stick to it. Whether you want to write weekly comic book reviews, movie news about one specific film, or just a couple of gameplay videos here and there, it’s totally your call.

Hopefully this info page has helped to give you an idea of a Contributors role with ComicBookCorps.com. We started this website because we want to produce quality content that respects these characters and stories that have impacted our lives, and we’d love to team up with people who think the same way.
