Comic Book Reviews.

Witchblade #1 Review

Caitlin Kittredge and Roberta Ingranata absolutely hit a homerun with this first issue of Witchblade.

Deathstroke # 26

All in all this was a very good issue I'm happy to say; full of great dialogue coupled with superb art. This issue really wets my appetite for the next one.

Batman #36 Review

Tom King's Batman isn't exactly for everyone and I haven't liked most of this run so far, but this issue is pretty great. Clay Mann's art is superb throughout, the colors look perfect and the whole ride is written with sweet intelligence.

Superman #36 Review

The apocalyptic nature of the story with the future of a planet at stake felt weighty enough and important enough for a character as powerful as Superman.

Batman White Knight #3 Review

This visually gripping and compelling story of emotion and darkness gives the reader one heck of a story to read over and over again.

Super Sons Annual #1 Review

I recommend this book to younger readers and to animal lovers due to the art and the Krypto-centered storyline.

Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #33 Review

We have another excellent book this week in Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #33. I hope Robert Venditti never leaves this title because he does Hal Jordan and Green Lanterns in general superbly.

Blast From the Past Reviews: Superman vs. Muhammad Ali

This comic is filled with light-hearted fun and action, and successfully merges the boxing world with the superhero world.

Blast From the Past Reviews: Action Comics #3

Although the third issue of this series has nothing to do with the two previous ones, I think it is one of the stronger issues. I love the way that Superman deals with the bad guys in this and he really sticks up for working class people, which especially back in those times would have been a huge deal.

Detective Comics #969 Review

This issue was an entertaining read and left me wanting more. The Victim Syndicate is obviously back and, judging from the title, they have built some momentum or are about to.
